We have been informed that a third D&B employee has tested positive for COVID-19. Per company policy, this employee has not come to work today and will not come to work until he has tested negative. This employee works as a Material Handler in the Shipping Department and had a fever last week for 3 days, but feels fine now.  Thursday, May 21, was the last time he  worked in the plant.  We wish him a fast recovery.

In the plant, within the last two weeks, this employee had very limited contact with other employees. The one employee with whom he had close contact within the past 14 days has been notified and left the plant last Thursday, May 21. She will be tested and can return to work with a negative result.

If you believe you have been in close contact with Shipping Department employees within the past 14 days, please alert HR or your supervisor with specifics of your exposure immediately.

We are committed to providing as safe a working environment as possible for all of our employees. Although four days have passed since this employee was in the plant, on May 26 we did not allow other people to work on the stations where the positive employee worked last week.

We also want to take this opportunity to remind you that one of our core values as a company is respect for and among our employees. We will treat information regarding the identity of employees with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 as confidential to the extent practicable and will comply with applicable laws regarding the handling of such information.  Further, per Company policy, we will not tolerate harassment of, or discrimination or retaliation against, employees.

Please contact Nancy Hopkins at nhopkins@dudek-bock.com if you have any questions or concerns.
