As a result of in increasingly collaborative relationship started between Dudek & Bock and Keihin Hatsujyo (KHJ) of Japan starting back in 2008, in 2011 D & B acquired the Woodstock operation of KHJ. Foremost among the reasons for this acquisition was the strong belief that KHC’s long-standing U.S. and Mexico-based Japanese customers (most of whom were established to serve Japanese automotive transplant OEM’s and System producers) can be both effectively served by under Dudek & Bock’s umbrella while also benefiting from D & B’s expanded product line including wire-forms, small flat-form stamping, progressive stampings, welded ring and welded assemblies and its TS 16949-certified facility in Saltillo, Mexico.
