John Dudek’s last day at work will be Friday, April 16. In honor of his retirement, the company is providing box lunches from Jimmy Johns and everyone is welcome to take a 1-hour lunch. From 1:30 to 2:00, first shift employees who would like to bid John farewell are invited to the Break Room. 2nd shift employees are invited to visit with John at 2:30, and sandwich boxes will be available then for 2nd shift.
Although over half of Dudek & Bock employees have received the vaccine, we are still being careful about mask use and social distancing. With that in mind, we hope to give John a memorable day.

On April 12 all adults in Illinois will be eligible for the vaccine. We have heard that calling for an appointment at a mass vaccination site has been easier than booking online.
Union members are eligible to get the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine through an event hosted by the Chicago Federation of Labor. Appointments are April 15, 16, and 18. To register, visit chicagolabor.org/vaccine.
You will need to provide proof of union membership. No children will be allowed at the vaccination site.
The company will pay $100 to each employee who is fully vaccinated for COVID-19. To qualify for the bonus:
1. Let HR know the date you received the first dose. For the first dose you will be paid 2 hours of straight time.
2. Agree to have your name listed on a “roll of honor” in the plant.
3. Bring to HR your vaccination card as proof that you have completed the vaccination.
4. You will receive a $100 check from Dudek & Bock.
