Hardship Withdrawals From 401k

Normally, hardship withdrawals from a 401k are allowed for only a few specific reasons: medical expenses, tuition, to prevent eviction, etc. Under the federal CARES Act, you can now request a hardship withdrawal for reasons related to COVID19. More information is available here: https://www.fidelity.com/viewpoints/financial-basics/avoiding-401k-loans

401k Loan Payment Deferral

Employees who have a 401k loan can call Fidelity and ask to have their repayments temporarily stopped. The phone number is 800-835-5097. Fidelity will report back to Dudek & Bock and we will stop the payroll deductions.
